Hand2Hand’s model is to pair a local school with a local church to help feed students each weekend during the school year.
Hand2Hand has several ways your local business can help feed students on the weekends.
You, your family, your friends can feed hungry kids on the weekend by packing food for them.
As a growing grassroots movement we require your donations to remain a thriving non profit.
H.O.P.E. Packing Events allow people to come together at a centralized location to pack supplemental food items. These items are added to a backpack of weekend food for children, ages 3-18, who may face nutritional gaps.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are limiting the number of volunteers to 30 people at each event. All volunteers are required to wear a mask and gloves.
There are a variety of ways you can collect food. A couple of examples: kids who collect food at birthday parties (instead of gifts). Extended family members collect food for Christmas.
We also have The Hand2Hand Hope on the Move trailer. It is a way for families, neighborhoods, or businesses to collect food that will be delivered to kids. Your donations will directly feed children who are facing hunger and put a smile on kids’ faces as they receive their food.

Hand2Hand does that by mobilizing schools, churches, businesses and individuals to provide a backpack of nutritious food over the weekend.
Currently, Hand2Hand is serving over 7,500 students in 200 schools, ages 3-18, in 8 counties in West Michigan.
